San Jose Sharks Assign Forward Lukas Kaspar To Worcester

SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has assigned forward Lukas Kaspar (LOO-kawsh KASH-pahr) to the Worcester Sharks, the team's top development affiliate in the American Hockey League.

Kaspar has played in six games with San Jose this season, scoring one goal (the game-winner Oct. 12 at Los Angeles) along with four penalty minutes and six shots.

Kaspar was originally selected by San Jose in the first round (22nd overall) in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.

The Worcester Sharks continue their opening four game home stand with a battle against the Hartford Wolf Pack on Wednesday (Oct. 22nd), Providence on Friday (Oct. 24th), and Bridgeport on Saturday (Oct. 25th). Fans will receive a Worcester Sharks poster schedule on Friday and Saturday! In all, the Sharks will play 6 of their next 7 games at home.
