San Jose Giants Make-Up Doubleheader Scheduled for May 31

San Jose, CA- The San Jose Giants have announced an addition to their 2016 home schedule with a make-up doubleheader against the Lancaster JetHawks on Tuesday, May 31. The twin bill at Municipal Stadium begins at 5:30 PM with the resumption of the April 8 suspended game. The contest will resume in the top of the fifth inning with Lancaster leading by a 4-1 score. There will be a 30-minute break in between games before the clubs play a 7-inning contest as a make-up for the April 9 rainout.
Fans are invited to come out to Municipal Stadium for a FREE 12 innings of baseball on May 31. General admission tickets for both games will be complimentary, with upgrades to box and upper reserved seats available for purchase. Groups looking to purchase the Martinelli's VIP Deck or City National Futures Club for the doubleheader should contact a San Jose Giants group representative at 408.297.1435.
The make-up of the April 10 rainout will be played as part of a doubleheader in Lancaster on Thursday, July 14. The doubleheader at the home of the JetHawks will begin at 5:05 PM and both games will be seven innings in length. The Giants will be the designated home team in the second game and the contest will count towards the first half standings.
