Young fan Sarah Salgado was selected as the winner for the 2015 Gigante Trick-or-Treat contest and she will get the opportunity to walk the neighborhood with the San Jose Giants mascot on Halloween.
San Jose, CA- The San Jose Giants announced today the winner of their 2015 Gigante Trick-or-Treat Contest. Sarah Salgado was chosen as the lucky child to have the San Jose Giants mascot join her on Halloween. Sarah was selected after a picture of her in a dentist costume, with San Jose Giants themed jack-o-lanterns was posted by her parents on the San Jose Giants Instagram account. Sarah will Trick-or-Treat in her neighborhood with Gigante on Saturday evening for one hour between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
"The San Jose Giants and Gigante are very excited to join Sarah for a night of Trick-or-Treating fun on Halloween," said Juliana Paoli, San Jose Giants Chief Marketing Officer. "Gigante will be visiting many different houses with her so every child in San Jose should be on the lookout for him in their neighborhood."
