San Antonio Rampage News Release

THIS WEEK'S GAMES

Wednesday, April 13 at Texas Stars

Cedar Park Center, 7:30 p.m. (CT)

San Antonio will make their final trip to the Cedar Park Center this season for a Wednesday night contest with the Texas Stars. The Lone Star State rivals have seen each other 13 times this season, and the Rampage are 6-5-2-0 against the Stars.

San Antonio's power-play unit has been a large portion of the Rampage's offense, tallying 12 power play-goals on 55 opportunities (21.8%) with the man advantage in the season series. Mikko Rantanen and Joey Hishon have all seen tremendous success against Texas this season. Both have registered 16 points against their interstate rival, with Rantanen averaging two points per game. When these two divisional foes collide, they have combined for an average of almost seven goals per game.

Friday, April 15 vs. Manitoba Moose

AT&T Center 7:30 p.m. (CT)

The San Antonio Rampage face a potential season-series sweep as the Manitoba Moose travel more than 1,500 miles south to the Alamo City.

Despite sitting 28th in the American Hockey League, Manitoba has been one of the Rampage's toughest opponents this season. The Moose have outscored the Silver and Black 11-3 and shut out the Rampage 3-0 in their previous contest on Mar. 4. San Antonio only has one active player that has registered at least one goal against Manitoba, rookie Mikko Rantanen. Rantanen has tallied two of the Rampage's three goals against the Moose this season.

ICE CHIPS: Garry Nunn - Rampage Center

Garry Nunn spent the early portion of the 2015-16 season with the Atlanta Gladiators and Providence Bruins, before signing a PTO with the Rampage on Mar. 8. The 5-foot-9 winger has made a living off his offensive production in the ECHL before making his AHL debut earlier this season. San Antonio has provided the opportunity for Nunn to showcase his talent, and he hasn't looked back. The British Columbia native has skated in 14 contests with the Rampage this season, collecting six goals, six assists, and a +7 plus-minus ratio.

Nunn was the difference maker this past week, totaling two overtime game-winning goals against the San Jose Barracuda and Iowa Wild.
