THIS WEEK'S GAMES
Thursday, March 28 vs Grand Rapids Griffins AT&T Center 7:00 p.m.
The Rampage wrap up a three-game homestand on Thursday against the Grand Rapids Griffins. San Antonio won the first two meetings be- tween the clubs before dropping the latest game in Grand Rapids on Feb. 24. Jon Rheault leads the Rampage against the Griffins this sea- son, tallying three goals and two assists in three games. Grand Rapids is second in the league in goals per game (3.22) and own an impressive 17 -11-1-1 record on the road.
Friday, March 29 at Charlotte Checkers Time Warner Cable Arena, 6:00 p.m.
The Rampage will venture outside the state of Texas for the final time this season for a pair of tilts against the Charlotte Checkers on Friday and Saturday. San Antonio owns a 2-3-0-1 record in six meetings against the divisional foe and split a pair of games in early February at Time Warner Cable Arena. Forward Scott Timmins paces the Rampage with two goals and three assists in six games against Charlotte.
Saturday, March 30 at Charlotte Checkers Time Warner Cable Arena, 6:00 p.m.
San Antonio has held Charlotte to two goals in the last four meetings between the clubs, but have only posted a 2-2-0-0 record in that span.
Charlotte sports the best power play in the league on the road (26.6%), but the worst power play at home (11.9%). The Checkers have also been a dangerous team late in the game, as the club has outscored opponents, 74-54, in the third period.
ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT GAME - March 28 Fans can purchase a game ticket, unlimited hot dogs, nachos, soda, peanuts and popcorn all for only $20 for the Rampage's game against the Grand Rapids Grif- fins on Thursday at 7 p.m. at AT&T Center.
CALL UPS: Rampage forward Greg Rallo was recalled to the Florida Panthers this week- end. Rallo played his second career NHL game on Sunday and became the 13th player who has worn the Silver and Black this season to suit up for the Panthers.
TOUGH DIVISION: Three of the five teams in San Antonio's division are holding down playoff spots with just over a month remaining in the regular season. The fourth team, Oklahoma City, is currently tied for the eighth and final playoff spot in the conference. The Rampage play 44 of their 76 games within the division.
NICE LINE: Despite being held off the board on Sunday, the newly formed line of Evan Barlow, Jared Gomes and Jack Combs has been hot for the Rampage. The line has tallied four goals, seven assists and 11 points in their last four games.
NHL IN SAN ANTONIO: The Rampage announced that the Florida Panthers and Dallas Stars will meet in a NHL preseason game on Sept. 20 at the AT&T Center.
