San Antonio Rampage News Release

SAN ANTONIO - Netminder Ville Husso records a career-high 53 saves as the San Antonio Rampage (22-16-3-0) earn a point against the Tucson Roadrunners (21-12-2-1) in a 2-1 overtime loss on Friday at the AT&T Center. Husso's 53 saves is the most by a Rampage goaltender since Dec. 2, 2006 when David LeNeveu collected 55 saves against the Chicago Wolves.

Chris Butler put San Antonio on the board first with 96 seconds remaining in the opening period when he collected a centering pass from Alex Belzile and went top shelf on goaltender Hunter Miska for his third power-play goal of the season. Tucson notched the game at one 15:05 into the second frame after Dysin Mayo cleaned up a loose puck in front of the net for his third of the season.

After a scoreless third period, the contest was forced into overtime. Mario Kempe landed the game-winning goal at 3:07 of the extra frame after finding an opening on the backside of the play.
