Sam James from 'The Voice' to Perform at Worcester Sharks Game

Worcester, MA - Worcester Sharks president Michael A. Mudd announced today that Sam James from 'The Voice' television show will perform during the first intermission when the Sharks host the Portland Pirates on Sunday, December 16 at 3pm at the DCU Center in Worcester.
James, a former contestant on NBC's hit show 'The Voice' and Worcester native will perform during the first intermission on December 16. While competing on 'The Voice,' James worked with Adam Levine of Maroon 5 and his rendition of John Lennon's classic hit "Imagine" peaked at #11 on the ITunes Rock Charts. James began performing at coffeehouses in Worcester at the young age of 15, molding his skills as a singer-songwriter. As word quickly spread of his talent, James had the opportunity of opening for established artists such as Third Eye Blind, Ingram Hill, and Chuck Berry.
In addition, Boston Garden Legend Rene Rancourt will perform the national anthem and sign autographs before the Sharks game on Dec 16.
