Sadlocha, McKay Named USHL/CCM Players of the Week

MADISON, WI - The Madison Capitols, a member of the United States Hockey League, had right wing Kamil Sadlocha named USHL/CCM Co-Forward of the Week with Muskegon Lumberjacks Collin Adams, and netminder Dryden McKay was named USHL/CCM Co-Goaltender of the Week with Muskegon goaltender Keith Petruzzelli, the league announced on Monday.
Sadlocha, 17, collected two goals and one assist for three points, and a plus-3 rating in two games last week. The rookie forward scored the game-winning goal in both games. The 5-foot-11, 169-pound native of Carpentersville, IL, assisted on the first goal of the game, and tallied his fifth goal of the season, the game-winning goal, in the Capitols 4-2 win over the league-leading Chicago Steel on Friday night. The Ohio State University commit scored the lone goal just 52-seconds into the game as Madison edged the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, 1-0, on Saturday. Sadlocha is ranked fifth on the Capitols with 15 points (6-915), and leads the team with four game-winning goals.
Adams, 18, collected one goal and two assists in Muskegon's 7-4 win over the Green Bay Gamblers on Friday night.
McKay, 19, stopped 64-of-66 shots in 120 minutes of playing time over two games last weekend. The 5-foot-11, 165-pound native of Downers Grove, Illinois, halted 40-of-42 shots he faced, including 26 shots in the third period, in the Capitols 4-2 win against the Steel on Friday for a .952 save percentage and a 2.00 goals-against-average. On Saturday, McKay shutout Cedar Rapids stopping all 24 shots while calculating a 1.000 save percentage and a 0.00 goals-against-average in Madison's 1-0 win. The College of Holy Cross commit has a record of 13-8-0-2, a 2.47 goals-against-average, and a 0.927 save percentage in 23 games this season.
Petruzzelli, 17, stopped all 20 shots he faced for his second shutout of the season in Muskegon's 1-0 shootout win over Green Bay on Saturday night.
In addition to Sadlocha, Adams, McKay, and Petruzzeli being named USHL/CCM Players of the Week, Fargo Force defenseman Lukas Kalble was named USHL/CCM Defenseman of the Week.
