Sabres Recall Forward Brian Flynn from Amerks

(Rochester, NY)... Buffalo Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier has announced that forward Brian Flynn has been recalled from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.

Flynn (7/26/88, 6'1", 180 lbs) joins the Sabres on his first career recall after signing with the Sabres on March 29, 2012. In 45 games for the Americans this season, the Lynnfield, Mass., native has recorded 32 points (16+16), tying to lead all Rochester skaters in goals and ranking 10th among all AHL rookies in both goals and points.

The University of Maine alumnus joined the Americans for five games at the end of the 2011-12 season, recording an assist in his AHL debut.
