Sabres Recall Bailey from Amerks

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has recalled forward Justin Bailey from the Rochester Americans (AHL).

Bailey (6'4", 214 lbs., 7/1/1995) currently leads the Amerks with two goals and is tied for the team lead with a plus-2 rating through three games in 2017-18. Last season, the Williamsville, New York native ranked third among Rochester skaters with 23 goals and finished the campaign with 36 points (23+13) in 52 AHL contests.

Buffalo's second-round pick (52nd overall) in the 2013 NHL Draft, Bailey has registered four points (2+2) in 40 career NHL games for the Sabres during the last two seasons.

In a corresponding move, the Sabres have placed defenseman Zach Bogosian on injured reserve.

The Buffalo Sabres today announced that defenseman Chris Butler will again donate a pair of tickets to military members from Western New York for each of the Sabres 41 home game this season as part of the Tickets for Troops program.
