RUMBLE PONIES WIN THIRD STRAIGHT: Binghamton earned their first three-game winning streak of the season, beating Akron 5-4 Tuesday night. The Rumble Ponies launched a season-high three home runs, while the Binghamton pitchers whiffed a season-best 14 RubberDucks. Matt Oberste's sixth inning blast proved to be the game-winning run as the Rumble Pony relievers shutout Akron over 3.1 innings.

BINGHAMTON STARTER: RHP Corey Oswalt readies for his second consecutive start against Akron. The 23-year-old faced the RubberDucks on April 26 and pitched Binghamton to a 4-1 win. He lasted six innings and struck out seven, without giving up a run. After losing his first two starts of the season, Oswalt has won back-to-back outings to even his mark at 2-2. The Double-A rookie will make his second start at NYSEG Stadium in 2017.

AKRON STARTER: RHP Nick Pasquale faced Corey Oswalt and the Rumble Ponies on April 26. He was hit with the loss after allowing four earned runs over six innings. This season, the 26-year-old is 1-1 with a 4.57 ERA in four starts. A 20th round draft pick in 2012, Pasquale is in his second Double-A season with Akron after posting a 4-7 mark with a 4.22 ERA in 2016. He did not face Binghamton in 2016.

DINGAHMTON: The Rumble Ponies have hit a home run in five straight games, the longest long ball stretch this season. Prior to the streak, Binghamton had not gone back-to-back games with a home run. The Ponies have launched eight home runs during that span and recorded a record of 4-1. Matt Oberste, Tomas Nido, Cody Decker and David Thompson lead the Rumble Ponies with two home runs each.

CARDIAC KIDS: Binghamton is now 5-1 in games decided by one run, the best mark in the Eastern League. Three of Binghamton's last six games have been decided by just one tally and the Rumble Ponies have won all three. The lone one-run defeat came back on April 11 against Portland. Akron is 3-5 in such contests, while Altoona leads the Eastern League with 10 games decided by a run.

HUMAN, AFTER ALL: For the first time this season, Champ Stuart was caught swiping a bag. Francisco Mejia gunned down Stuart at second base in Tuesday's fifth inning to end his streak of 17 straight successful steals, dating back to the 2016 season. Stuart stills leads the Eastern League with 11 stolen bases.

WERE GOING STREAKING! Rumble Pony relievers Tim Peterson and Alberto Baldonado combined to toss two scoreless innings on Tuesday, upping both of their scoreless streaks to start the season. Baldonado has not allowed a run to score 12.2 innings (8 appearances), while Peterson's streak stretches to 10.0 innings (9 appearances)

UP NEXT: The Rumble Ponies head out for their third road trip of the season. Binghamton starts a four-day, five-game series in New Hampshire on Thursday evening. RHP Casey Delgado takes the hill in the opener.
