Royals to Host Town Hall Meeting

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that the team will host a Town Hall Meeting on Monday, August 23, 2010, from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm at the Coca-Cola Lounge inside the Sovereign Center in Reading, Pennsylvania. Because of space restrictions, attendance at the Town Hall Meeting is limited to 250 fans on a first-come, first serve basis. Fans attending the Town Hall Meeting should enter the Sovereign Center that evening through the Loading Dock Security Entrance (western end of Sovereign Center). During the Town Hall Meeting, General Manager Gordon Kaye, Head Coach Larry Courville, Director of Sales Mark Wallace, Senior Manager of Marketing and Game Presentation Walter Cordiner and Broadcaster Mark Thompson will discuss the upcoming ECHL season. There will be an opportunity for a question and answer session during the Town Hall Meeting. Please also note that the Royals' Fan-Attic will be open for extended hours on Monday, August 23, to accommodate fans interested in shopping for Royals' merchandise.

The Royals host the team's tenth anniversary home opener on Saturday, October 23, 2010 (7:05 pm), when the Elmira Jackals visit the Sovereign Center. Also, be sure to catch the Royals' season opener live from Trenton, New Jersey, (@ Trenton Devils Saturday, October 16, 2010 @ 7:00 pm)-and all of the team's away games this year-on Royals TV exclusively on BCTV courtesy of Boscov's Travel and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.
