Royals 'Suspended Game' in Elmira Set to Pick up on Tuesday

Reading, PA- The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League, today announced that the team's "suspended game" against the Elmira Jackals at First Arena in Elmira, New York, which was begun but not completed on Friday, February 17, has been set to pick up on Tuesday, February 28 @ 7:05 pm in Elmira.

The game was halted and suspended on February 17 due to ice conditions at First Arena. The game will pick up with 6:07 remaining in the first period of play and the Royals leading by a score of 2-0 on the strength of goals by Mike Pereira (1:20 into first period) and Ryan Penny (10:11 into first period). Please note that, according to league rules, teams are permitted to make changes to the line-up from the start of the game, however, no more than 18 players (16 skaters and 2 goaltenders) can be in uniform for the resumption of the game on February 28.

The Royals game night broadcast will begin at 6:35 pm that night on iHeartRadio - Rumba 1340 in Reading with streaming video available on BCTV and ECHL.TV.
