Royals Prepare for Fan Appreciation Night

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals will host two games at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre this week. First, the Portland Winterhawks will complete the back half of their two-game visit on Tuesday, March 12th. Then the Everett Silvertips will be in town on Friday, March 15th for the Royals' final home regular season game of the year and Fan Appreciation Night! Puck drop for both games is set for 7:05 p.m.

The two games this week will be the final chances for fans to bid on Royals Pink in the Rink and Canadian Forces Appreciation Night jerseys by silent auction. Tuesday, March 12

7-Eleven and Coke Zero representatives will be on hand on Tuesday night awarding randomly chosen lucky fans with prize packages throughout the game! Mr. Slurpee from 7-11 will join Marty the Marmot in the fun both on the ice and in the concourse!

The first intermission will see one fan compete in the Moxie's Grill & Bar Find Marty where he or she could win a $50 gift certificate to Moxie's Grill & Bar! The second intermission will feature the Langford Lanes Pins & Win contest where one fan will win prizes from Langford Lanes!

During the game, fans are encouraged to purchase foam pucks for the Old House Village Chuck-A-Puck for their chance to win great prizes during the second intermission. Prizes for the evening's Chuck-A-Puck will include a one-night stay and spa treatment for two courtesy of Old House Village and two adult day lift passes from Mount Washington Alpine Resort! All proceeds from the evening's Chuck-A-Puck will go towards Easter Seals! Fans can also purchase End of the Roll 50/50 tickets during the game in support of the View Royal Elementary PAC.

Friday, March 15 - Fan Appreciation Night

Friday is one of the most exciting nights of the season for Royals' fans; it's Fan Appreciation Night! Throughout the night, the Royals will be giving away more than $17,000 in prizes! Lucky seats and lucky rows will be chosen at random to win prizes from V.I. Fitness, Capital Iron, Popeye's Supplements, Westin Bear Mountain Golf Resort & Spa, Body Dynamics, Goodlife Fitness, 1550's Restaurant, La Belle Patate, Marigold Nursery, Yates Street Taphouse, Italian Food Imports, and Home Depot.

Season ticket holders are reminded that they can pick up their playoff packages at the interior Select Your Tickets windows during Friday night's game.

The first intermission will see Tim Bits Minor Hockey presented by 100.3 The Q! featuring players from the Nanaimo Novice Major Flyers team! During the second intermission, 100.3 The Q! will present the Vegas Crapshoot where one fan will win a trip for two to Las Vegas! Then, also during the second intermission, Capital Iron will present Find the Boat as one fan will win a Z-Ray 2 300 inflatable boat!

The first 3,000 fans through the gates at Friday's regular season finale will receive fan clappers courtesy of National Bank Financial! Capital Iron will also be in the concourse on Friday night handing out 500 barbeque thermometers and will draw for a second Z-Ray 2 300 inflatable boat! Harbour Air's mascot Turbo will be in the concourse and join Marty the Marmot and the promo team on the ice during the second intermission.

During the game, fans will be able to purchase tickets for the End of the Roll 50/50 draw and foam pucks for the Old House Village Chuck-A-Puck. There will be five different targets and prizes for the evening's Chuck-A-Puck including a one-night stay and spa treatment for two courtesy of Old House Village, a team-autographed Royals jersey from Art Box, a Hampton Bay Electric Fireplace from Home Depot, Canucks tickets plus accommodation and round-trip flights for two courtesy of Harbour Air and Coast Hotels and a $550 Wallace Driving School prize! Proceeds from the evening's End of the Roll 50/50 will benefit Westshore Rebels Football and the Old House Village Chuck-A-Puck will support Victoria Wild Fastball.

Here Comes the Blue! The Victoria Royals take on the Kamloops Blazers in Round 1 of the 2013 WHL Playoffs. Tickets for Games 3 and 4, held at Bear Mountain Arena, are on sale now.
