Cedar Rapids, IA - The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders have traded goaltender Christian Stoever to the Youngstown Phantoms today in exchange for future considerations. The team has also added goaltender Troy Kobryn to their roster.
Kobryn, from Hillsborough, NJ was with the RoughRiders during the preseason and has been with the Connecticut Jr. Rangers since the beginning of the regular season.
"We look forward to Troy returning to the RoughRiders," said Head Coach Mark Carlson.
Stoever was 0-1 in goal for the RoughRiders thus far this season.
Cedar Rapids will host a pair of games at The Stable this weekend, hosting the Madison Capitols Friday night and the Green Bay Gamblers on Saturday. Game time for both nights is 7:05 pm. For more details or for tickets call 319-247-0340 or buy tickets online at www.roughridershockey.com.
