CEDAR RAPIDS- The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders will "Ring in the New Year" Saturday, December 30th at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena when the RoughRiders take on the Central Illinois Flying Aces at 7:05 pm.
The 1st 700 fans in the doors will receive a complimentary RoughRiders Cowbell. The gates open at 6 pm. Tickets are on sale now and range anywhere in price from $12.75 to $25.00 per ticket. You can purchase tickets online by going to the RoughRiders website at www.RidertownUSA.com or call the RoughRiders Box Office at 319-247-0340. You can also purchase tickets at the Ice Arena between the hours of 8:30 am to 5 pm Friday and 10 am until game time Saturday.
It is Springville Community Night and the 2016-2017 Springville Girls defending State Champion basketball team will be recognized pre-game and Studio Dee out of Springville, will be performing a dance routine on the ice during the 1st intermission.
In the two teams only other matchup this season, the RoughRiders defeated Central Illinois at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena 5-3 on October 21st.
