February 6, 2016 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Calgary Roughnecks News Release

Calgary, AB - Greg Harnett scored the game winner, with just under three minutes remaining in regulation, to lift the Calgary Roughnecks to a 12-11 win over the Georgia Swarm on Saturday evening at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

For Harnett, it was his second consecutive game-winning goal at home and the third of his five-year career with Calgary.

The visiting Swarm extended a 3-2 first-quarter lead to an 8-3 advantage after 30 minutes of play. Georgia forward Shayne Jackson led the first-half attack with three goals while Tyler Digby (2) and Curtis Dickson provided scoring for Calgary.

The Roughnecks then controlled the third quarter with a six-goal effort, including netting three markers 1:04 apart, to bring the home club within one, ending the frame down 10-9.

Calgary's three-goal fourth quarter saw Digby score his fifth goal of night and Dickson his fourth to bring the Roughnecks back to .500.

Frankie Scigliano and Mike Poulin both stood between the pipes for Calgary. Scigliano received the start and turned aside 20 of 27 shots he faced in just over 22 minutes of action. Poulin, in a relief appearance, made 24 saves to record the victory and his 50th career NLL win.

The Roughnecks (3-3) return to action next Saturday, Feb. 13, when the Colorado Mammoth (4-2) visit the Scotiabank Saddledome (7:00 p.m., TSN GO).

Single game tickets are available at Ticketmaster locations and the Scotiabank Saddledome box office for as low as $38 for adults and $21 for children (plus applicable fees).
