Roster Changes to Team QMJHL for CHL Canada Russia Series
November 14, 2016 - Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) News Release
CHICOUTIMI- The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League announced today that Thomas Chabot (SNB), Antoine Morand (BAT) and Alexandre Alain (BLB) have been added to Team QMJHL's roster for the 2016 CIBC Canada Russia Series.
Thomas Chabot, Saint John Sea Dogs defenseman will be participating in the series for a second time. Chabot, who started the season with the Ottawa Senators, has recently returned with the Sea Dogs. He has 8 points in 4 games.
Acadie-Bathurst Titan forward, Antoine Morand, will make his debut with team QMJHL. Morand has had a good start to the season with 24 points in 21 games.
Alexandre Alain, the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada forward, will be in his second participation in the CIBC Canada-Russia Series. Alain has 10 goals in 20 games so far this season.
Pascal Laberge (VIC) and Jérémy Roy (BLB) were removed from the lineup because of injury.
The 2016 CIBC Canada Russia series is supported by title sponsor and Official Bank of the CHL, CIBC, and CHL associate sponsors Cooper Tire, autoTRADER.ca (http://autotrader.ca/) and Sherwin-Williams. All games will be broadcast nationally on Sportsnet and TVA Sports.
