Rockford, Ill. - Coming off a seven goal outing the night before, the Milwaukee Admirals offense picked right back up where they left off Saturday night to defeat the Rockford IceHogs 4-2 at the BMO Harris Bank Center.

Just 1:54 into the contest, Chris Mueller got things started and gave Milwaukee the 1-0 lead. Mueller picked up a pass from Daniel Bang and sent it to the back of the net for his team-high fifth goal of the season.

The IceHogs got it right back to tie the game at 1-1. Peter LeBlanc sent Brandon Pirri streaking toward the Admirals zone on an odd man rush. Pirri picked up the pass, then slowed down to snipe a shot past Jeremy Smith at 8:39 in the opening frame.

In the second, the Admirals offense came alive with three quick scores before Rockford had an answer.

With the Admirals on a power play Mike Moore ripped a shot from the blue line that found its way through traffic and to the back of the net at the 3:28 mark.

Then as another Milwaukee power play expired Moore slipped in his second of the night to push the Admirals lead to 3-1. Patrick Cehlin fired a shot that Alec Richards turned away but Moore found the rebound and wristed it in at 7:21 in the second.

Just 36-seconds later, Milwaukee added to their lead as Austin Watson made it 4-2 with a snapshot from the left face off circle.

The IceHogs finally were able to seize Milwaukee's scoring flurry 13:07 into the second period. Jeremy Morin was tripped up as he was skating in towards the Admirals net, but released a shot just in time which snuck by Smith to bring the score to 4-2 heading into the final frame.

In the third, the Hogs were unable to deliver on any of their nine shot attempts and fell to Milwaukee 4-2.

The IceHogs have now dropped three of their last four contests heading into a three-game Week 6. Rockford is 1-5-0-1 in seven games against Midwest Division foes.
