Toronto Rock News Release

Oakville, ON - Toronto Rock Owner, President and General Manager Jamie Dawick has announced the signing of defender Jamie Batson to the practice roster on Friday. To make room for Batson, the Rock have released forward Jordan Robertson from the practice roster. The roster moves are pending league approval.

Batson began the season with the Buffalo Bandits, but was released from their active roster on Thursday. The 30-year old from Brantford, Ontario played in 1 of the Bandits first 3 games, registering 1 assist and picking up 2 loose balls.

The fourth-year pro split time between the Bandits and Rochester Knighthawks in 2015 after being traded at last year's trade deadline from Rochester to Buffalo. He had spent the 2012 and 2014 seasons with the Knighthawks, appearing in 8 games in total from 2012 to 2015 with Rochester.

The Rock are at home this evening at 8 p.m. against the Georgia Swarm at Air Canada Centre. Fans can also watch the game live online on FOX Sports GO.

Toronto Rock Season Tickets, the Upper Bowl Season Pass, Flex Packs, Single Game Tickets and Group Tickets are also on sale now. For more information about Toronto Rock tickets, please contact our account executives at 416-596-3075 or visit www.torontorock.com.
