(Windsor) Spitfires defenseman Rob Kwiet is the Windsor Spitfires Player of the Week as selected by the Spitfires coaching staff for the week ending Sunday, November 2nd. Kwiet scored four goals and added one assist for a total of five points and recorded a +6 plus/minus rating in leading the Spitfires to a perfect 2-0 record last week.
Kwiet scored a hat-trick, posted a plus-3 rating and was selected as the first star of Windsor's 7-4 victory against the London Knights on October 30th and he also scored one goal, added an assist, and posted a plus-3 rating in the Spitfires 7-2 win against the Oshawa Generals on November 2nd.
The 20 year-old Toronto, Ontario native is currently leading the OHL with a +20 plus/minus rating. He is also tied for second amongst all OHL defenceman in points (20) and goals scored (6) as well as being tied for eleventh in the OHL's overall scoring race with 20 points.
