Roadrunners to host media day on Monday

PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL would like to extend an invitation to all members of the media to join President Claude Lemieux, General Manager and Head Coach Ron Filion, and other members of the 2005-06 team from 2PM-2:30PM on Monday, October 3 at America West Arena for the RoadRunners first annual Media Day. The event is being held in conjunction with the Phoenix Suns of the NBA, and will precede the Suns 2005 Media Day which is scheduled from 2:30PM-4:30PM.
Assistant Coach and former NHL defenseman J.J. Daigneault and players Dean Tiltgen, Ed Hill, and Miguel LaFleche will also be available for interviews.
Media Day will take place at the Phoenix Suns Practice Court, which is located on the event level of America West Arena across from the RoadRunners locker room.
The Phoenix RoadRunners will open their first training camp on Monday, October 10. Details will be released soon.
RoadRunners professional hockey returns to downtown Phoenix at 7PM on Saturday, October 22 when the Utah Grizzlies visit America West Arena in the ECHL season opener for both teams.
