Roadrunners Add Eight to Training Camp Roster

TUCSON, AZ - Arizona Coyotes President of Hockey Operations and General Manager John Chayka announced today that the Coyotes have assigned the following eight players to the Tucson Roadrunners, the club's American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate.

Capobianco, 21, an AHL All-Star in his first season of professional hockey, recorded 30 points in 49 games for the Roadrunners in 2017-18. The third round draft selection (#63 overall) of the Coyotes in 2015, also made his NHL debut with Arizona on December 7, 2017.

Fasching, 23, was acquired by the Coyotes this summer from the Buffalo Sabres in a trade that sent Mike Sislo to the northeast. A fourth round draft selection by the Los Angeles Kings (#118 overall) in 2013, the Milwaukee-born forward enters his third full season of pro hockey in Tucson.

Hill, 22, finished tied for third among all AHL goaltenders in 2017-18 with five shutouts. The third-year Roadrunner made his NHL debut in October of 2017 and won his first NHL game in March in a 4-3 shootout victory over the Los Angeles Kings.

Klima, 21, joins his twin brother, Kelly, on the Tucson training camp roster. Both first year pro's, Kevin finished fourth in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League scoring, registering 86 points in 68 games.

Looke, 21, played all 59 games of his first professional season in Tucson in 2017-18. A native of Gavle, Sweden, Looke was a third round draft selection (#83 overall) of the Coyotes in 2015.

Miska, 23, finished second among all American Hockey League rookie goaltenders with 22 wins last season. The former University of Minnesota-Duluth star concluded the season with a record of 22-9.

Pederson, 21, totaled 26 points in 63 games in Tucson during the 2017-18 campaign. The second year pro joins fellow former Swift Current Broncos Tyler Steenbergen and Matteo Gennaro on the training camp roster.

Russo, 25, brings experience as both an AHL All-Star and a Calder Cup Champion to Tucson. The defenseman has totaled 103 points in 204 games at the American League level and joins the Roadrunners for his fourth year pro.

The Roadrunners now have 29 players remaining in training camp.

The Coyotes currently have 31 players in training camp.
