RiverKings Acquire Forward Trever Hertz

SOUTHAVEN, Miss - The Mississippi RiverKings and Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser announced the acquisition of forward Trever Hertz from Knoxville in exchange for future considerations.

Hertz, 28, embarks on his fourth season in the SPHL and comes off a 38 point campaign in 16-17 (14G, 24A). A native of Jaffray, British Columbia, Hertz played four years of college hockey at NCAA Division III Utica College, earning the role of captain in his senior season.

After finishing his college career, Hertz made his SPHL debut with the Mississippi Surge. Hertz would go on to play 2015-16 with Fayetteville before finding a home in Knoxville for the past two seasons. The 6-foot-1, 194 pounder comes to the RiverKings with a career SPHL stat line of 47 goals, 74 assists in 166 games played.
