On the same pitch he stole third, the ball got by GreenJackets catcher Will Albertson allowing him to come in to score giving the RiverDogs the lead. Charleston added another run that inning on a two out, dropped third strike which resulted in a passed ball scoring Brandon Wagner from third.

He advanced to third on a ground out by Estevan Florial and then came in to score on a ground out by Diego Castillo giving the RiverDogs a 4-1 lead. The GreenJackets added a run in the fifth but got no closer before the RiverDogs blew it open with three insurance runs in the eighth.
