RiverDogs Return Home and Host "Zero-K"

CHARLESTON, SC - After a quick four-game series in Hickory, NC, the Charleston RiverDogs return to Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park for another seven-game homestand as they welcome the West Virginia Power and the Kannapolis Intimidators from April 23-29.

Tuesday, April 23, 7:05 pm: Healthy Challenge Tuesday / Two-for-$20 Date Night / National Parks Night. On Tuesdays the RiverDogs team with MUSC Wellness to promote healthy lifestyle choices. Each Tuesday features a healthy menu item and lifestyle tips throughout the game. The new 2-for-$20 Date Night, which is presented by 96.9 The Wolf, includes two tickets, two slices of pizza, two sodas and one popcorn all for $20. National Parks Night is a celebration of our recreational opportunities as part of National Parks Week. Learn more about our National Parks and kids will have the chance to become Junior Park Rangers. Also, local Italian restaurant La Fontana will present the "Lucky Couple of the Game" as one fortunate pair will be selected at random to win a free romantic Italian dinner for two. The restaurant will bring in two specialty dishes and the couple will enjoy that dinner in a special seating arrangement down the right field line while enjoying the game.

Wednesday, April 24, 11:05 am: Education Day. The club's second Education Day, which is presented by AAA Carolinas, features a special 11:05 am first pitch where the stands will once again be filled with students from Lowcountry schools. It is also a golden opportunity to have that "business lunch" at The Joe.

Thursday, April 25, 7:05 pm: Thirsty Thursday / Military Appreciation Night / Zero K. Get the party started with DJ Natty Heavy in the Ashley View Pub with $1 drafts for Budweiser Thirsty Thursday, presented by 95SX. Military Night, presented by General Dynamic Land Systems-Force Protection, offers active and retired military personnel to gain FREE entrance for themselves and family members by showing Military ID at the box office. The Zero K Race to the Bar takes place prior to the game, and for more information on that unique "race," please refer to www. rileyparkevents .com.

Friday, April 26, 7:05 pm: General Dynamic Land Systems-Force Protection Red Shirt Friday / Piggly Wiggly Postgame Fireworks. Fans that wear a red shirt to the game can save $1 off your ticket or donate that dollar to Carolina Canines. As a special treat, Jazz Artists of Charleston will present the Swingin' BANDits, who will perform the national anthem and also provide entertainment throughout the evening in celebration of Jazz Night at The Joe. After the game we will light up the sky with another Piggly Wiggly Fireworks Postgame Show. Friday games are presented by WEZL.

Saturday, April 27, 6:05 pm: North Charleston Night / Craft Beer Saturday / CCSD Student Job Fair. Join us as we celebrate North Charleston Night here at The Joe and enjoy a tasty selection of craft beer specials that include Leinenkugel Summer Shandy, Third Shift Amber Lager and more. Kids get the chance to have additional fun while running the bases after the game. The Blood Alliance team will be on site from 4:30-7:30 and everyone who registers to donate will get a FREE 4-pack of tickets. The Summer Job Fair, presented by CCSD Career & Technology Education and the RiverDogs, will be held from 4:30-6. This event is for all registered CCSD students only.

Sunday, April 28, 5:05 pm: Kids Club Sunday / Miller-Coors Aluminum Pint Nite / Dog Day #2 / Marvelous Mutts / Charleston County Employee Day. Charleston County Parks and Recreation Commission and Crews Subaru Kids Club Sunday presented by Y102.5. It's a Miller/Coors Aluminum Pint Nite as fans can enjoy $2 specials in the Ashley View Pub on aluminum pints. Bring your dog to The Joe because it's Dog Day and don't miss the chance to watch the Marvelous Mutts perform throughout the game. It's Charleston County Employee Day, where our county-employed neighbors will have a special day at The Joe. FREE PARKING & KIDS EAT FREE (kids 12-under receive a coupon for a hot dog, drink and chips). You can take the field with your youngster for a pregame catch and reading with a RiverDogs player as well as free postgame autographs.

Monday, April 29, 7:05 pm: Dogs With a Cause: SC Advocates for Epilepsy / Dollar Dogs and Beers. Head to the Ashley View Pub for $1 dogs and $1 drafts of always-smooth Keystone Light. Dogs with a Cause, where the club partners with a non-profit to focus on awareness and raise funds, will showcase the South Carolina Advocates for Epilepsy at this game.
