River Cats, RedHawks Announce Pitching Match-Ups for PCL Championship Series

West Sacramento, Calif. - Sacramento River Cats manager Todd Steverson and Oklahoma RedHawks manager Bobby Jones have announced their rotations for the Pacific Coast League Championship match-up, team officials announced today. The River Cats have now advanced to the PCL Championship an unprecedented four times in the last six seasons, winning the title in their previous three trips with an overall 9-0 record in championship games.

The River Cats' first round opponent, the Oklahoma RedHawks (Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers), defeated the Iowa Cubs to advance to the Championship round. The two teams will open their best-of-five series on Tuesday night at Raley Field.

The PCL Championship Series schedule complete with starting pitching match-ups is as follows (all times Pacific):

Playoff Promotional Schedule

The playoff promotional schedule will include Nestle Family Fun Nights - with $1 Hot Dogs and $1 Nestle Drumsticks - during every 2008 River Cats playoff game at Raley Field.

Playoff Ticket Availability

Individual game playoff tickets are currently available for purchase and range in price from $7 to $20, the same as regular-season prices. Groups of 20 or more can purchase playoff tickets at discount of up to $6 per ticket. Individual-game tickets for the playoffs will be available at the Raley Field Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster outlets and online at Rivercats.com. Playoff group outings are available at the Raley Field Ticket Office and by calling 916-371-HITS.
