Rio Grande Valley FC Toros Hit the Road to Face Swope Park Rangers

Kansas City, Missouri, September 2 - Rio Grande Valley FC Toros (11,5,9) hit the road once again to face Swope Park Rangers (10,9,6) on Saturday, September 2. The game will kickoff at 7:30 at Children's Mercy Victory Field at Swope Soccer Village.
The Rio Grande Valley FC Toros have won the past four games back-to-back. They last defeated Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC on Saturday, September 27. CO. Springs Switchbacks FC jumped ahead in the 38th minute. Switchbacks FC' Josh Suggs found the far corner to put the team ahead. A penalty was awarded to the Toros in the 40th minute. Ruben Luna stepped up to the penalty spot and pulled both teams even. The Toros were fouled once again in the 63rd minute. Luna got his second goal of the night from the penalty spot. Ruben Luna has scored in the last four consecutive matches.
Swope Park Rangers comes off from a midweek game against San Antonio FC. Swope Park Rangers got an early lead in the third minute of the game. Ayrton Pinhiero got his first of the game early in the first half. It did not take long for San Antonio FC to get a goal to tie the game. Fejiro Okiomah was responsible for getting San Antonio's goal. Pinhiero got his second goal to give Swope Park Rangers the victory in the dying minutes of the game.
The Toros come back home to face Portland Timbers 2 on Saturday, September 10. Swope Park Rangers stay at home and will next Tulsa Roughnecks FC.
