Riders Release Otha Foster to Pursue NFL Opportunity

Saskatchewan Roughriders News Release
The Saskatchewan Roughriders have released international linebacker Otha Foster so he can pursue an NFL opportunity.
Foster spent one season with the Riders after signing with the Green and White as a free agent last February. The 28-year-old Louisiana native picked up 71 defensive tackles, four tackles for loss, three quarterback sacks and one interception in starting all 18 regular season games. He was named the Riders Most Outstanding Defensive Player following the season.
Foster was scheduled to be a free agent February 14th.
