Riders Announce Kickoff Party Details

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have announced details for the Farewell Season Kickoff Lunch Party to be held at Regina's City Square Plaza on Thursday, June 30th from 11:30am - 2:00pm. The Riders are inviting families, downtown employees and fans city wide to join them for an expanded Rider Lunch Party to celebrate the kickoff of the last season at historic Mosaic Stadium.
"This is a very special year for our team and our community," said Gregg Sauter, Roughriders Vice President of Marketing. "We officially kickoff the Farewell Season Thursday night but the fun will really begin at 11:30 in City Square Plaza. We hope the city will join us for some great entertainment, food and interactive fun for all ages."
The Kickoff Party is scheduled to include:
- Live entertainment
- Interactive Roughrider inflatables
- The legendary Gainer the Gopher
- Face Painting
- Food Trucks
- SaskTel - Saskatchewan Roughriders Legends Experience
- All new Saskatchewan Hall of Fame Traveling Sports Exhibit
- Free coffee and Lemonade from Tim Hortons
The Riders have also announced that a number Rider Alumni will be on hand for autographs, including Mike McCullough, Paul Woldu, Matt Dominguez and more. Fans will also have an opportunity to enter the Capital Auto Mall Truck giveaway.
The Riders open the final season at historic Mosaic Stadium at 8:00 pm against the Toronto Argonauts. Game tickets are available at www.riderville.com
