RGV FC Toros Host Orange County Blues FC on Sunday Night

Edinburg, Texas - The Rio Grande Valley FC Toros (6-4-5) and Orange County Blues FC (5-6-3) will match up against each other on Sunday June 26th at UTRGV Soccer and Track Complex. Kickoff will begin at 7:30p.m.
The Toros have the opportunity to earn six points this week after drawing even 1-1 with Arizona United SC on Wednesday June 22nd. Eric Bird scored in the 21st minute for the Toros. RGV's Jose Escalante passed a through ball that beat Arizona's offside trap and enabled Eric Bird to go one-on-one against the Arizona goalkeeper, Jordan Stagmiller, to calmly kick the ball into the net. After Toros' Jose "Memo" Rodriguez blasted the ball on the crossbar, Arizona's Chris Cortez's long cross found Tyler Blackwood who blasted the ball in the upper 90.
Orange County Blues FC face San Antonio FC on June 23rd. That match ended 3-2 with San Antonio coming up on top. San Antonio went ahead in the 17th minute. Michael Reed scored on a play that was well constructed by Jacques Francois. Roy Meeus scored for Orange County in the 41st minute to send both teams even at halftime. Didier Crettenand put the Blues ahead in the 50th minute with an absolute stunner from long distance. Franck Tayou brought both teams even at the 74th minute. Milton Palacios scored the game-winning goal for San Antonio in the 80th minute.
The Toros will next face Oklahoma City Energy FC at Taft Stadium on Saturday, July 2nd. That game will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. Orange County Blues FC will continue on the road and face Los Angeles Galaxy II on July 2nd as well.
