Revolution Rewind 

First Place Game 

The Revolution skated into Dyer, Indiana for a make or break game to decide if they had a chance to chase down the Shooters for first place. The Revolution also saw the first appearance of veteran Joe Pace in their line to bolster their playoff line up. The Shooters were firing on all cylinders Friday night that saw them skate away with a 5-1 win over the Revolution to all but lock up home ice in the playoffs for the Shooters.  

The Revolution lone goal was scored by the goal scoring machine Mason Cossette with just 14 seconds left in the second period to cut the lead to 2-1 going into the third period. The Revolution came out flat in the third period that saw goaltender Matt Wagner try to hold the fort down, but a bad bounce cost the team a goal and dashed the Revolution a chances at the last minute come back for the Revolution. 

Frost Bit 

The Revolution fell flat on their face at Revolution Arena in front of the second biggest crowd in Revolution history. The Revolution built a 3-2 lead going into the third period that saw the Icemen come back for a stunning win over the Revolution. The frost bit Revolution fell 4-3 on a Josh Tucker goal in the third period that iced the game for the Icemen.  

The Revolution were lead in scoring with Rick Gadwa by netting two goals and Ky Moje with a two goals and assists for a three point night. Goaltender Matt Wagner was in net for his second straight loss as the Revolution goaltender. The crowd was also entertained by Charles Harvey as he began to lay the smack down on the young Josh Tucker of the Icemen and there were just a thunderous as the Arena Race on ice.  

Racing for Autism Awareness 

The stock car drivers of South West Michigan were on hand to help raise money for Autism Awareness during the Revolution game Saturday night raised close and to $400. The Revolution would like to thank the Kalamazoo Speedway, Springport Motor Speedway, Arena Racing, and Angola Motor Speedway for their donation of items and time for this event. The Revolution look forward to working with them again in the 2010-2011 hockey season. 

 

 

 

 

 

Rev it Up 

The Revolution will be in action five times in the next seven days to close out the regular season starting with a home game against the Chi-Town Shooters on Monday night at 7:00pm. Then the luck of the Irish will visit with a special Green Jersey Auction on Wednesday night against the West Michigan Blizzard at 7:00pm. The Revolution then will travel to the LC Walker Arena for a game against the Blizzard at 7:00pm. The Revolution will close out the home schedule with a game Saturday night at 7:30pm against Chi-Town Shooters. They will travel to the Midwest Ice and Training Center on Sunday against the Shooters for 4:20pm Eastern Time game. . Revolution Original  

The Revolution announced on Sunday night that Mark Allen has signed with the hockey club for the Davidson Cup Playoff push. Mark was the player coach for the 2008-2009 season for the Revolution and led them to the Cup Finals last season. Mark will be in the line up against the Shooters on Monday night for the Revolution.  

Revolution History Stat of the Week 

The Battle Creek Revolution have played two seasons in the All American Hockey League. Can you name of the teams that have played in the young league? The correct answer would be the Detroit Dragons, Chicago Blaze, Madison Ice Muskies, Chi-Town Shooters, Evansville Icemen, Battle Creek Revolution, and the West Michigan Blizzard/Hitmen.
