Reserves' Big Night Not Enough To Lift Blue Past D-Fenders

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. - The Oklahoma City Blue fell on the road to the Los Angeles D-Fenders, 114-92, on Thursday night. The Blue's bench totaled 58 points and 28 rebounds.
Dane Miller came off the bench and led the Blue with a career-high 21 points on 8-of-14 shooting to go with nine rebounds, five assists and three steals. Aaron Harrison scored 12 points with five rebounds and Tomislav Zubcic recorded 11 points with four boards. Kameron Woods posted 11 points and 10 rebounds for his third double-double of the year.
After trailing 35-16 through one quarter, Oklahoma City went on a 14-0 run over a four and a half minute stretch in the second period to pull within one point of the D-Fenders. Los Angeles responded with an 11-3 burst to enter the break ahead 53-44.
The D-Fenders added on to its lead by outscoring the Blue 42-20 in the third. The Blue outpaced Los Angeles 28-19 in the final quarter but it wasn't enough to overcome its deficit.
Oklahoma City (10-22) outrebounded the D-Fenders 48-45.
Los Angeles (16-14) was led by Vander Blue with 25 points.
