Renegades Host Game One of the Finals this Sunday

FISHKILL, NY - The Hudson Valley Renegades have an opponent for the New York-Penn League Championship. It was determined Friday night in State College, Pennsylvania as the State College Spikes defeated the Staten Island Yankees 6-5 to secure a spot in the final.

The Renegades will host game one of the best-of-three series Sunday, September 11th at 4:00 P.M. The gates will open for the final home game of the 2016 season at 3:00 P.M. Game two will be played Monday night in State College and game three if necessary Tuesday night in State College. The Renegades won the only series of the year between the two clubs in June, two games to one.

"We are excited to be playing for another New York-Penn League title," said Eben Yager, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Hudson Valley Renegades. "State College and the Renegades had the two best records in the New York-Penn League this year so it should make for an exciting championship."

After the conclusion of game one of the NYPL finals, the Renegades will be hosting their annual free community event at Dutchess Stadium. The Hometown Heroes 9/11 Tribute Game and Ceremony will follow the Renegades game at 7:00 P.M. with fireworks to follow the tribute.

Tickets are on sale for $5.00 per ticket until the gates open at 3:00 P.M. Sunday. Ticket prices will revert back to their normal prices once the gates open on Sunday. The Renegades ticket office will be open Saturday 10:00 A.M-2:00 P.M. and Sunday at 10:00 A.M. Tickets are also available online at hvrenegades.com.
