CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS - Join the Corpus Christi IceRays this Thursday and Friday night at the American Bank Center as they look to clinch a spot in the 2017 Robertson Cup Playoffs when they host the South Division Champion Lone Star Brahmas for their final home meetings of the season.
Thursday night is the final Winning Weekday offering this season when the IceRays open the two-game series. Fans can purchase one ticket at the American Bank Center Box Office and earn a second ticket for free. This offer is only available through the arena box office. Hours of operation are weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and through game time on Thursday evening.
The IceRays finish the weekend set with a Tride Rideshare Frosty Friday, one of two remaining for the 2016-17 regular season. Fans can enjoy $1 beer and soda throughout the evening inside the arena with beer sales ending after the second period. In addition, all fans will receive $5 off their fare when using promo code "icerays" on the Tride Passenger app when commuting to and from the game through Tride Rideshare. Plus, there will be one of three remaining post-game skates, presented by Braselton Homes, following the game.
The IceRays are just one point away from clinching a playoff spot following last week's results. This means that the IceRays need a point of any kind-a win or a post-regulation loss-or a loss of any kind by the Odessa Jackalopes through the final seven games of the season to seal their fate for the postseason. If the IceRays clinch this weekend, it would be their third trip to the playoffs over the last seven years and the earliest clinch in franchise history.
