Reinhardt Commits to AIC

May 9, 2016 - United States Hockey League (USHL)
Fargo Force News Release

Former forward, Hugo Reinhardt, has committed to American International College for the fall of 2016.

Reinhardt, a center out of Kungsbacka, Sweden, was a USHL rookie for the 2015-16 season and it was his first season playing hockey in the United States. He played in 48 games with Fargo, scoring six goals and adding seven assists for 13 points on the year. He will join former defenseman, Dominic Racobaldo (2011-13), who will be a senior at AIC this upcoming season.

"Congrats to Hugo on his commitment to AIC," said head coach Cary Eades. "He is a great example of what the USHL is all about, as I don't think many people in college hockey knew who he was prior to coming to our league this season. Hugo developed his game and adjusted to living in the U.S. up to the point that he earned a D1 scholarship. His contributions to our team's success in the second half of the season cannot be measured in stats, as Hugo did a lot of the little things like blocking shots, hitting, smart checking, etc., that helped our team win. His aggressive style of play will be a nice addition to AIC's roster, and we wish him well."
