Holland drew a walk, putting runners on the corners for Nick Nunziato (Belmont Abbey) whom also drew a walk, loading the bases. On the next pitch to, Kolin McMillen (Flagler College), who came in for an injured Chaz Pal, watched the ball go all the way to the backstop, allowing everyone to move up. Castillo scored on the play making it a 5-3 contest.

No more runs would be scored for the remainder of the game, as great pitching and wonderful defense held both teams at bay the rest of the night.
