Redbirds Introduce Partnerships for the 2011 Season

MEMPHIS, TN - The Memphis Redbirds are proud to announce their new partnerships with the University of Phoenix, Chevy, T-Mobile, Carrier and Ford.
Younger Redbirds fans can enjoy The University of Phoenix Redbirds Reading Program. Rockey's Rockin' Readers challenges students at participating schools and organizations to read six books to earn a Redbirds bookmark and two free field box tickets to the Redbirds game on July 14 or July 21. Family members and friends of each participant are also able to get half off any additional tickets to the game, limited to eight tickets total. The University of Phoenix has nearly half a million students and over 200 campuses worldwide, including the Memphis Campus in Germantown, TN.
Chevy joins the Redbirds to introduce Chevy Youth Baseball to this season. During 18 games Chevy will bring 35 kids out to AutoZone Park to share the experience of Redbirds baseball as a team. Chevy will also hold two one-day clinics at AutoZone Park for Chevy Youth Baseball teams.
Another new addition to the ballpark this year is the fastest 4G network around, T-Mobile. They are the presenting sponsor of the T-Mobile All You Can Eat Thursday where fans can purchase an $18.00 ticket that includes an outfield box seat and a buffet that will be provided for two hours starting once gates open for any Thursday home game. Thanks to T-Mobile Redbirds fans will receive a Redbirds' branded gym bag that will be given out to the first 3,000 fans on Friday, August 12. T-Mobile also sponsors the Cardinals Score Update on WHBQ 560.
New to the Redbirds outfield wall is Carrier, the world leader in air conditioning, heating and refrigeration systems. Fans can turn to the experts and find a Carrier representative in the entry plaza to answer any questions about your air conditioning needs.
Ford will sponsor FansFirst this season. Any questions, comments or concerns can be taken care of at the new Ford FansFirst Center where fans are able to talk to a Redbirds' representative. May 17 the Built Ford Tough Business Special will take place, giving working fans an opportunity to watch the baseball game during their lunch hour with first pitch scheduled for 1:05 p.m. Ford is the official truck of the Memphis Redbirds. Ford also brings the Built Ford Tough Player of the Game to WHBQ 560.
