PORTLAND, ME - The Maine Red Claws, presented by Unum, will look to continue an early season win streak this Friday as they tip off the home portion of their 2012-13 schedule. The Red Claws are currently riding a 2-0 winning streak, picking up a pair of road wins this past weekend to open the season. To mark the home opener, the Red Claws have dubbed the home opener "Beat LA! Night" with the first 1,000 fans through the gate receiving "Beat LA!" t-shirts. LONG-TIME PARTNER UNUM TO BE RED CLAWS PRESENTING PARTNER: The Red Claws will also welcome a new partner at their home opener, introducing Unum as the team's presenting partner. Unum, who has been a major partner of the Red Claws since their inaugural season of 2009-10, will become a visible presence with the Red Claws, with their logo painted on the court and joining the team in multiple endeavors over the course of the season.
"We are thrilled to welcome Unum as the Maine Red Claws presenting sponsor," said Red Claws President Bill Ryan, Jr. "We have been very fortunate to have received tremendous support from the business community over our four years here, and no partner has contributed more than Unum. We are thrilled with this newly enhanced partnership that will be the cornerstone of the Maine Red Claws' success for many years to come."
