Red Claws Acquire 7-0 Forward Garrett Stutz

PORTLAND, ME - The Maine Red Claws, presented by Unum, today announced that they have acquired forward Garrett Stutz. Stutz, a 7-0 rookie forward out of Wichita State, arrived in Maine yesterday and is expected to be in the lineup tonight as the Red Claws host the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
Stutz, 22, spent four years at Wichita State, appearing in 32 games as a senior last season when he averaged 13.3 points and 8.0 rebounds per game for the Shockers. He participated in the NBA Pro Summer League in Orlando with the Boston Celtics and in Las Vegas with the Minnesota Timberwolves before beginning his pro career overseas with Anyang KGC (Korea-KBL).
The Red Claws host the Rio Grande Valley Vipers tonight at the Portland Expo in a battle of NBA Development League division leaders. Tip off is a 7 PM and great seats remain for the game.
