RED DEER, AB - Brent Sutter, General Manager/Head Coach of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced today the signing of four prospects to Standard Player Agreements.
Jayden Grubbe (F), 1st round, 7th overall, Calgary, AB
Kyle Masters (D), 1st round, 16th overall, Edmonton, AB
Trey Patterson (D), 2nd round, 28th overall, Calgary, AB
Josh Medernach, (F), 3rd round, 50th overall, Lloydminster, AB
All four players are from this year's Western Hockey League Bantam Draft. They are all born in 2003 and are not eligible to play full-time in the WHL until the 2019-20 season.
