RED DEER, AB - Brent Sutter, General Manager/Head Coach of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced today the team has acquired 18-year old defenceman Spencer Morse from the Moose Jaw Warriors in exchange for a conditional draft pick in the 2016 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.
Morse has played in 48 career games with the Warriors, scoring 1 goal and 4 assists for 5 points along with 90 penalty minutes. He was a second round pick in the 2010 WHL Bantam Draft and is entering his second season in the league.
