Reading Royals News Release
Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League, today announced that the team has signed defenseman Rob Mann to an Amateur Tryout Agreement.
Mann (6'4 / 223) (24), who hails from Oshawa, Ontario, recently completed his senior season at Robert Morris University, where he was second amongst defensemen on the team with twelve points (3g-9a) and thirty-two penalty minutes in thirty-six games with the Colonials. Mann, who served as the team captain for RMU in his senior season, led the Colonials in blocked shots in his last two seasons with the team. In 117 total career games at RMU, Mann registered twenty-two points (6g-16a) and seventy-six penalty minutes.
