The pinnacle of July will be the 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza when the Rawhide take on the Modesto Nuts for three games to begin a seven game homestand. The month of July follows with a heavy dose of the Cal League South Division as the Lake Elsinore Storm are in town for seven games and the Lancaster Jethawks visit for a homestand sanchwhiched in between.

In August, the final full month of the season, the schedule tilts back to a North Division focus with four games against Stockton, six games against Modesto and three against San Jose before the calendar turns to September and the playoffs begin.

Accompanying these promotional nights are the familiar day of the week promotions starting with "Make-A-Difference Monday," "Two-Fer-Tuesday," "Win-Win Wednesday" and "Thirsty Thursday," which fans will once again be able to get in free by dressing up for the theme on each night and enjoy $1 beers and live music by local bands prior to first pitch. Also back is "Fun-Filled Friday," "All-American Saturday," and "Family Fun Sundays." Sundays will now be a true family experience because every Sunday dogs will be allowed in the ballpark as well as a remodeled "Kids Corral" in right field for the Kids Club members. All kids 12 and under, for just $5, can join the Kids club and receive 10 Pasture tickets to any Sunday home game, free access to the Kids Corral throughout the season, and of course, a Rawhide Kid's Club T-shirt. With the California League contracting back to eight teams for the 2017 season the schedule will look slightly different. The Rawhide will feature 82 games against the North Division with 28 each against the Giants and Seattle affiliates San Jose and Modesto. Stockton will wrap up the North Division slate with 26 games against Visalia. Visalia will play more contests against the affiliates of all five of the MLB franchises that call California home, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland, Anaheim and San Diego. Against the South Division the Rawhide play a total of 52 times with 12 against Rancho Cucamonga, 19 vs. Lake Elsinore, 14 against Lancaster and 13 vs. Inland Empire.
