August 14, 2015 - California League (CalL1)
Visalia Rawhide News Release

We're into the home stretch of the regular season; just 2 homestands left, and the first is coming your way this Monday-Sunday! The Rawhide are steaming towards the playoffs, and look to keep up the momentum on the field and in the stands.

The weeklong set begins on Monday, August 17th with a 7:00 game; it's another Make a Difference Monday with Fresno Pacific University. This Monday, we'll be benefiting Tulare County Department of Child Support Services; bring a school supply item to donate, and we'll give you a free Pasture ticket! It's also Orange Night; we're giving free tickets to fruit-pickers and factory workers when you show your company ID or pay stub at the ticket window.

Tuesday, August 18th is a 7:00 game; it's a Two-fer Tuesday with Chevron-Texaco, so head to your local Chevron-Texaco station for your 2-for-1 ticket voucher. It's the annual Oaks Night celebration, where the 'Hide don throwback Visalia Oaks uniforms. And, it's a Reading Day, presented by EECU, so if your child is in Tipper's Reading Club, bring your completed bookmark to the ticket window for 4 free tickets to the game!

The homestand continues on Wednesday, August 19th at 7:00 with a Win-Win Wednesday, where if the Rawhide win, you do too! A victory means you can redeem your ticket for a freebie to our next Wednesday home game! It's also Date Night; purchase your Date Night package at the ticket window, and get 2 tickets, 2 $10 food vouchers, a pre-game picture on the field, and a frame for the picture!

Thursday, August 20th is the annual Mustache Appreciation Night! It's a celebration of all things 'stache, where you'll receive a free ticket by presenting your mustache at the ticket window! We'll have a Best in Mustache competition, and Mustache Olympics events between innings, so come well-groomed and presentable! It is, of course, a Thirsty Thursday with Valley-Wide Beverage as well, with $1 Coors & Miller Lite drafts from 6-8 PM. First pitch is again at 7:00.

Friday, August 21st will be a Fun-Filled Friday at 7:00, and it'll also be Relay for Life Night! The Rawhide will wear special purple uniforms, which will be auctioned off to benefit Relay for Life. Additionally, it'll be the 2nd Craft Beer Night of the season; local breweries will be offering pours of their unique creations on the Pasture. And there'll be Fireworks to follow the game!

We'll head into Saturday, August 22nd for Bark in the Park Weekend presented by Pedigree! On Saturday AND Sunday, you'll be able to bring your furry best friend for a $3 Pooch Pass, with all proceeds benefitting Ruffles Rescue! Pedigree coupons will be passed out to dog owners at the gates. It's also an All-American Saturday with Sequoia Beverage, so bring your boot mugs for discounted beverages, and military members receive a half-priced ticket by showing their military ID! First pitch is at 7:00.

Bark in the Park Weekend continues on Sunday, August 23rd with a 6:00 start, where you can again bring your dog for a $3 Pooch Pass. Pedigree coupons will be given out at the gates once more. And, it'll be Kids Club Day presented by Professor Toy and Carls Jr! Kids Club members can arrive early to watch the team take batting practice, have a free meal from Carls Jr., and take part in a player autograph session! They'll also have free access to the Kids Corral area during the game, and can run the bases after the game.

It'll be a great week at the ballpark, and there aren't many of them left this year! So get your tickets at RawhideBaseball.com, over the phone at 732-HIDE, or in person at the ticket window along Giddings Street!
