SAN ANTONIO (March 4, 2013) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Mike Santos announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has recalled from loan goaltender Brian Foster from the team's ECHL affiliate, the Cincinnati Cyclones.

Foster, 26, made his first appearance of the year for San Antonio on Feb. 22 in relief and stopped all seven shots he faced in 20 minutes of action. He has appeared in 32 games for the Cyclones this season and owns a 19-7-4 record. The 6-foot-2, 186-pound goaltender also sports a 0.907 save percentage and a 2.67 goals-against average for Cincinnati.

Foster was announced as the runner up for the ECHL's Goaltender of the Week Award on Feb. 18 after posting a perfect 3-0-0 record in three starts with a 1.34 goals-against average. In addition, Foster scored a goal against the Trenton Titans on Feb. 15, becoming only the 11th goalie in league history to record a goal. Foster, who was drafted by the Panthers in the fifth round (161 overall) of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, played in 12 games for the Rampage last season, posting a 4-6-0 record.

The Silver & Black return to action on Friday, March 8th when they face the Texas Stars at the Cedar Park Center. The club will then kick off a four-game home stand on Sunday, March 10th against the Oklahoma City Barons on Pucks & Paws Night. Individual, and season tickets, can be purchased at the AT&T Center Southeast Box Office, by calling a Rampage representative at 210-444-5554 or online at sarampage.com.
