Rampage Acquire Defenseman Zach Miskovic from Chicago Wolves

SAN ANTONIO (February 14, 2013) - San Antonio Rampage general manager Mike Santos announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has acquired defenseman Zach Miskovic from the Chicago Wolves.
Miskovic, 27, has played the last four years in the AHL and has amassed 48 points (15 goals, 33 assists) in 167 games. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound defenseman has played in 15 games for Chicago this season and has two goals and one assist. Miskovic spent three years (2009-2012) with Hershey and was a member of the Bears team that won the 2010 Calder Cup Championship. Prior to turning pro, Miskovic played four years at St. Lawrence University (2005-2009) and recorded 27 goals and 46 assists in 154 contests. In his senior season, the River Forest, Ill., native led the nation with 16 goals from the blueline.
The Rampage kick off the second leg of their Rodeo Road Trip when they open up a three-in-three weekend tomorrow (Friday) night at Milwaukee with a 7 p.m. puck drop.
