September 10, 2015 - Carolina League (CarL1)
Wilmington Blue Rocks News Release
WILMINGTON, Del. - The Blue Rocks are one win away from the Mills Cup Championship Series, but rain in Wilmington on Thursday delayed their chances to punch their ticket to the Finals. As a result, Game Two of the N.D.C.S. is now scheduled to get underway at 7:05 p.m. on Friday at Frawley Stadium.
The pitching matchup for the continuation of the series remains the same for both sides. Matthew Strahm will get the ball for the Blue Rocks in Game Two. The lefty went 1-6 with a 2.78 ERA in the regular season. Lynchburg will turn to Jayson Aquino, who pitched to a record of 1-3 and an ERA of 2.45 in 2015. Fans can listen to the broadcast on 89.7 WGLS-FM. For tickets, call 302-888-BLUE, or visit www.bluerocks.com.
