Rain Postpones Shuckers and Generals on Sunday at MGM Park

BILOXI, MS. - Sunday's scheduled contest between Biloxi Shuckers and Jackson Generals at MGM Park has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a Monday doubleheader, starting at 5:40 pm. The twin bill will feature a pair of seven-inning games, with game two starting approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. Any fan with a ticket to Sunday's game may be exchanged for a ticket of equal value, based on seating availability, for any future 2016 regular season, non-restricted home game. Exchanges are accepted exclusively at the MGM Park Box Office. This season the Shuckers are 3-0-4 in doubleheaders this season, having split the last played back on the final day of the first half, June 19 at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. Biloxi is 9-4 in seven-inning contests. Coverage of Monday's doubleheader will begin at 4:20 p.m. on the Biloxi Shuckers' Radio Network's flagship station WGCM 1240 AM, 100.9 FM, Pascagoula's WPMO 1580 AM and the TuneIn Radio app.
Monday is another PokeMonday, presented by GamerFete Cancer Awareness Night with the American Cancer Society. Also due to the high demand on Saturday from PAW Patrol Night, Marshall, Chase and Skye will be back at MGM Park during Monday's doubleheader, greeting and taking pictures with fans!
The homestand continues through Wednesday as on Tuesday the Shuckers will let the good times roll with Halfway to Mardi Gras Night with drink specials all night long; Wednesday is Fan Appreciation Night featuring a post-game team autograph session.
