RAIL YARD DAWGS ROSTER UPDATE: Dawgs Announce Training Camp Roster Update

October 14, 2017 - SPHL (SPHL) - Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs News Release


ROANOKE, VA - The Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs announced a series of cuts after Saturday morning's training camp practice as goaltender Michal Marcinek, forward Luke McColgan and forward Jonathon Robinson have been released from their tryout agreements.

Additionally, three players signed to tryout agreements have made ECHL teams. Forward Jeremy Beirnes will open the season with the Wheeling Nailers, defenseman Travis Armstrong with the Indy Fuel and goaltender Ty Reichenbach with the Norfolk Admirals.

An updated roster is attached. Roanoke currently has 12 forwards, seven defensemen and two goaltenders in camp. The Rail Yard Dawgs will set the opening night roster on Wednesday before beginning the 2017-18 season at 7:05 PM on Friday night against the Fayetteville Marksmen.
